Introducing IITGC
Meet the Founders of IITGC
Welcome to the IITGC blog! We’re excited to launch this platform to share insights into our mission, values, and the industries we serve. IITGC—Indigenous International Trading Group of Canada Ltd.—is a proudly Métis-controlled organization focused on delivering high-quality products and solutions across three key sectors: Mining/Minerals, Green Energy, and Government Procurement. Our mission is rooted in fostering innovation, sustainability, and creating opportunities for Indigenous communities while strengthening Canada’s position in the global marketplace.
IITGC was founded by two industry leaders with a shared vision: Peter Gosselin and William Wang:

Peter Gosselin, an Indigenous Métis entrepreneur, serves as the controlling partner and brings over 30 years of business development expertise, particularly in Indigenous relations and economic reconciliation. His leadership drives IITGC’s commitment to building meaningful, long-term partnerships that benefit both Indigenous communities and the industries we serve.

William Wang, the other founding partner, brings a wealth of knowledge in international supply chains and logistics. His expertise ensures IITGC’s access to high-quality global manufacturers, helping us deliver the best products to meet our clients’ needs in critical sectors. Together, Peter and William form a dynamic partnership that combines Indigenous values with global trade expertise.
What Sets IITGC Apart?
- Mining/Minerals – We understand the unique demands of the mining sector and provide industrial equipment, technology, and services that promote efficiency and sustainability. Our focus is on delivering products that meet the needs of both large-scale operations and smaller Indigenous-owned initiatives.
- Green Energy – As the global shift to renewable energy accelerates, IITGC plays a key role in sourcing products for wind, solar, and other green energy projects. We believe that Indigenous communities can lead in this transformation, benefiting from the opportunities it creates.
- Government Procurement – We are well-versed in the complexities of government procurement processes, supplying certified, high-quality goods and services to support public infrastructure projects. Our experience ensures compliance with regulatory standards while delivering value to government clients.
A Commitment to Indigenous Economic Development
Peter Gosselin’s leadership as a Métis entrepreneur ensures that IITGC places Indigenous economic development at the forefront of our operations. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous businesses, fostering collaboration that promotes shared economic growth. Our goal is to create pathways for Indigenous entrepreneurs to thrive both domestically and internationally.
